Sexual Assault

A sexual assault is an act of a sexual nature, whether or not it involves physical contact, carried out by an individual whithout the consent of the person to whom it is addressed. It is an act of violence, of domination, of humiliation and it is an abuse of power. To sexually assault is to impose attitudes, words or gestures of a sexual nature.

There are different forms of sexual assault:

  • Rape
  • Exhibitionism
  • Voyeurism
  • Sexual exploitation
  • Frotterism
  • Sexual harrassement
  • Incest
  • Touching
